New Industry Website Promotes Raspberries

The North American Raspberry & Blackberry Association Conference concludes today (Wednesday) in Wilmington, North Carolina, and the red raspberry industry has a new resource for information. Allison Beadle, CEO of Wild Hive, the Washington Red Raspberry Commission’s marketing team, says out with the old and in with the newer and more complete website.

“The red-raspberry-dot-org website has now been folded into So, is going to become your main source of information. There’s a whole new industry section on the website. That’s where you’ll find all the latest news and updates on meetings, updates on research projects. We’ll update the website with grower and profit reports in here. Any industry resources that are developed are going to live in here. Information, all the past videos from Raspberry Service Industry Awards, all that’s going to be right here in the industry section.” 

However, she says the website isn’t just for industry members.

“This is also the main hub for all of our other target audiences. Whether it’s consumers, or health professionals, or our primary target audience for the commission which is the trade. So, food service, food manufacturers, distributors, chefs, mixologists, schools. This is their hub. So, you will be able to see all the information and resources that we have available to all of those audiences as well.”
