The inaugural Tri-State Ag Expo is happening in Clemson SC on July 16 and 17 and Commissioner Weathers is here to tell us about it.
- My good friend and Upstate producer RD Morrison had the idea to bring this expo to South Carolina and I am excited to talk to you about it today
- We have Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie GA, Southern Farm Show in Raleigh, and even the National Farm Machinery Show in Lexington SC. We have not had something in our state in several years and this is a benefit to have something closer to home for people
- Here are some specifics:
- Location: T Ed Garrison Arena and Expo Center at Clemson University in Pendleton
- Hours: 8:30-5 both Wednesday and Thursday July 16 and 17
- Admission is free

- There are several sponsors that will be there as well, SCDA is one!
- There will be a kids corner as well that Pickens County FFA will be helping with where they can “ride the fields” on pedal tractors.
- For more information, you can visit tristateagexpo.com or give them a follow on Facebook “Tri-State Ag Expo”
- I hope to see some folks out there next week to support this expo. It is very exciting to have something back in the state and I know it will only grow from here.
