Mahindra is back with its 12th annual Mahindra Military Salute Giveaway just for military members and veterans. The giveaway launch commemorated Flag Day and the US Army’s 250th birthday. Matt Glendon is Mahindra Senior Director of Marketing, and says this year’s contest has a twist.

“We care deeply about our military here in the US, the sacrifices that they have made and continue to make for us, and so we have honored them for the past 12 years by doing a military salute giveaway. Traditionally, it’s been a giveaway for a tractor that always yields great stories about individuals who could use a tractor on their properties. And for the very first time, we’re going to do this with our Mahindra Roxor.”

Glendon says the Roxor is just as tough as Mahindra tractors.

“It’s an off-road vehicle that is based on Mahindra’s long time heritage in building off road vehicles. We’ve done so since the 1940s and this product is the only off-road side-by-side vehicle with an all steel body, 2.7 liter turbo diesel engine, true geared transmission, and you could run all day in it. It’s got a 16-gallon fuel tank, and towing capacity of 3500 pounds. You can put 1500 pounds in the back as well. So many positives about the Roxor. It’s super tough and built to last you for many, many years.”

The Mahindra lineup is noted for its rugged durability.

“We start at 20 horsepower, at a with a subcompact tractor called the 1100 series. We go from there to the 2100 series. And our 2126 with 26 horsepower, has an air conditioned cab, so air conditioning and heat in a compact tractor. Then we go from there up to 40, 50, 60, and up to 75 horsepower. So a true chore tractor for somebody who has hay and cattle. We have that product for you all the way down to somebody that has just a few acres and they’re looking to maintain their property.”

But Glendon warns, time’s running out for the giveaway.
