• STEP UPP (Southeast Training Education Program for Upcoming Produce Professionals) is a training education program for upcoming produce professionals.
• It’s hosted by SCDA and SEPC, the Southeastern Produce Council. 
• The goal is to give retail and foodservice produce professionals a greater understanding of the industry through an emphasis on strategic orientation, personal leadership, and hands-on field experience. 
• This year’s group will tour:
  • Walther Farms
  • Titan Farms
  • WP Rawl
  • Coosaw Farms
  • City Roots
  • SCDA’s Consumer Protection Division
• The farm tours will emphasize growers’ processing, packing and growing capabilities.
• The produce business is all about relationships, and it’s wonderful that these young professionals will connect with our growers
